Before students can be accepted into an online B.Com degree program, they must first undergo a physical assessment. This assessment is used to determine if a student is a suitable candidate for learning online, as well as what sort of computer requirements will be needed. B.Com students need a computer with a high level of processing power and broadband internet connection speed. Other factors that might be required for online learning include a fast broadband internet connection, a quiet and safe place to study, and a reliable computer with an anti-virus program that can handle the course materials.

Some colleges and universities offer online B.Com degrees, which allows students to earn a B.A. without having to attend a traditional college campus. B.Com students who wish to pursue an online B.Com degree are given the opportunity to study from home. This means that there is no travel involved, no additional cost for textbooks or other materials, and students can do all of their coursework through the Internet, saving both time and money.
