Business Communication is the third of the four primary subjects taught in B.Com Part 2, which examines the writing skills of a writer who specializes in business communication. The first two subjects are Introduction to Business Communication and Business Analysis. Writing Past Papers is not a class topic, but rather an elective for students to opt to pursue.
The B.Com course includes research on writing past papers, discussing different types of writing, discussing the differences between marketing and advertising, writing effective memos and letters, analyzing business plans, presenting information and presenting findings, presenting case studies, and much more.
Students will need to write two essays for this class, one regarding personal experiences in business and another pertaining to their knowledge and expertise in business writing. The topics in this section are very similar to those in the first few credits of B Com class. However, since they are electives, students are not required to complete them all.
Students will be asked to read past papers on certain topics. These topics are presented in a “list type” format. The student will then be asked to read these papers and select three to four topics that match their writing experience. They will then be asked to present their selection to the instructor. Writing Test papers are required throughout the semester as a requirement to complete the B.Com degree.
After completing the B.Com course, students will need to write a business essay for this class. This writing experience will require the student to write an essay that is based on their writing experience from this class. Essays are required to be 500 words or more long. The assignment will be based on the student’s results in the reading section of the class, with the instructor being the judge of that assignment.
Writing the B Com Second Business Communication Essay requires a great deal of attention to detail. The essay should be researched and written with a focus on the topic. The student should choose to write from a wide variety of sources, including primary sources and online resources.

The essay should also be edited for punctuation, grammar, typos, spelling errors, sentence structure, and overall tone. The essay should be submitted to the instructor with a cover letter and by the end of August, the students’ paper should be approved.
Writing the B Com Second Business Communication Report involves a process of learning and observation. This process is done through multiple readings, assignments, discussions, and finally a self-review. The student will be given periodic reviews during the course of the semester.
The instructor will send a link to the student’s work in hopes of the student being able to make some changes to the initial B Com sample assignment. Reviewing the essay after it has been sent back to the instructor can help the student see any areas that could be improved upon.
